Nice to meet you, Dana Valensky

An emotional coach using the Satya method

my journey

My journey in therapy began from my earliest memories. At a young age, it became clear that my sense of empathy, closeness, and desire to help were flowing within me, driving my actions in almost every aspect of life. At the heart of this passion lies a deep curiosity about human behavior, why some people find joy while others don't, and what gives life meaning.

Over years, I dove deep into books about personal growth, empowerment, spirit, consciousness, and psychology. I knew I wanted to understand things deeply. This insight led me on a fascinating journey of learning and growth.

My professional path began with a degree in occupational therapy, followed by movement therapy studies at Haifa University. This combination deepened my understanding of the body-mind connection.

After graduating, I worked as an occupational therapist with children and developed a practice as an emotional therapist for parents and kids. This period let me apply my theoretical knowledge and see its impact on my clients' lives.

Education and professional experience

personal and professional development

The comfortable routine I built was significantly disrupted when we - my husband, our two children, and I - moved to the United States. I suddenly found myself in a foreign country and culture, facing parenting challenges while disconnected from my support network. It was a time of deep searching - I looked for ways to continue my practice, find meaning, and grow despite all changes.

This period led me to significantly expand my toolkit:

  • I underwent intensive emotional-somatic therapy, opening new horizons in understanding the body-mind connection.

  • I completed over 100 hours of yoga teacher training, deepening my connection to body and breath.

  • I trained in Bach flower remedies and Reiki, enabling a holistic approach to healing and balance.

  • I fulfilled a longtime dream by studying astrology, giving me broader perspective on life's personal journey

My journey eventually led me to the Satya Method. In this method, I found a careful blend of safe and gentle space with deep and fascinating philosophical and psychological knowledge. The method also offers practical tools for self-observation.
Personal coaching with the Satya Method enabled me to make renewed choices in various aspects of my life. Through working with the method, I reached meaningful insights:

  • I understood that my happiness depends on me, not on external life circumstances.

  • I learned to look at life from a new perspective.
My satisfaction with family relationships improved wonderfully.

  • The phrase "relationships before results" became my way of life.
